Key Experience and Qualifications:

Current Special Education Teacher certification Demonstrated background in designing and implementing IEPs Experience with K-5 elementary-aged students, particularly in specialized settings Strong skills in differentiation, behavior management, and progress monitoring Ability to foster an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with staff and families Adaptability and professionalism to meet the evolving needs of students

Responsibilities:

Provide targeted instruction and supports for a caseload of 8 students across multiple elementary grades Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and related service providers Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Utilize data-driven interventions to support academic, emotional, and behavioral growth Attend all required school meetings, maintain accurate records, and engage in ongoing communication with families Foster a positive classroom environment that celebrates each students strengths and encourages growth This is a full-time, contract position running from the start of the school year in August 2026 through May 2027, with hours from 8:15 am to 4:00 pm daily.
