Key Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field Valid state Special Education teaching certification Previous experience working with elementary-aged children with diverse learning needs Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt and tailor lesson plans to accommodate individual learning plans Team-oriented, organized, and dedicated to student success

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to a caseload of 8 students in grades K, 1, 2, 3, and 5 Collaborate with other educators, specialists, and families to support holistic student growth Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation Participate in IEP meetings and other necessary school activities Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students Implement best practices in classroom management and individualized instruction This contract role offers a consistent weekday schedule8:15 am to 4:00 pmthroughout the academic year, allowing you to make an impactful difference on a day-to-day basis.
