Qualifications:

Valid Kansas Special Education License required Experience working in early childhood or elementary special education settings Expertise supporting students with autism and significant needs preferred Strong collaboration skills for partnering with support staff, therapists, and families Commitment to individualized instruction and diverse learning needs Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction, behavioral support, and individualized programming to students in an intensive needs classroom Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to ensure specialized instruction and progress toward goals Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families Collect and maintain data on student progress, behaviors, and curriculum adaptations Participate in team meetings, trainings, and school activities as required Foster a supportive, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all students Inspire growth and encourage students to reach their fullest potential by applying your expertise in special education where it is most needed.
