Qualifications:

Valid Kentucky teaching certification for Visual Impairments Experience working with students who have visual impairments is highly desirable Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in ARC meetings Organized, reliable, and adaptable to varying student needs

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct instruction and support to students who qualify for visual impairment services Complete timely and accurate assessment reports Attend ARC (Admissions and Release Committee) meetings for students on your caseload Work closely with educators, support staff, and families to implement individualized education plans Stay current on best practices in visual impairment education This part-time rolerequiring a commitment of one day per weekoffers an ideal balance for experienced professionals seeking schedule flexibility.
