Key Qualifications:

Current Kentucky Special Education certification with Moderate to Severe Disabilities (MSD) credentials required Demonstrated experience teaching or supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities Deep understanding of IEP development, classroom management, and differentiated instruction Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

Lead instruction and implement strategies for an elementary caseload of 7 students with moderate to severe needs Develop, monitor, and revise IEPs tailored to individual student strengths and challenges Employ evidence-based practices and adapt curriculum and materials to foster academic, social, and behavioral growth Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings, including IEP conferences and progress reviews Engage and communicate regularly with families and related service providers to support comprehensive care
