Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings, reports, or informal updates. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation related to child welfare and development. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and curriculum enhancements rooted in early childhood education principles such as Montessori or preschool methodologies. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, particularly with toddlers aged two years old. Strong knowledge of child development stages, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Background in curriculum development with an emphasis on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and preschool activities. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention practices, and childhood welfare standards. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood development or Montessori teaching are a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons using standardized testing insights or tutoring techniques when appropriate.
