K-8 LAHB TEACHER, ESY PROGRAM POSITION OVERVIEW

To plan and provide instruction to students who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Planning for instruction of students to maintain skills and information per IEP Supervision of paraprofessionals Coordination of related service support Assessment and communication of progress with teachers and service providers Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment

QUALIFICATIONS-PREFERRED

Mass DESE Mod. Disabilities, Prek-8, certification required Wilson, and/or Orton Gillingham, and/or LiPS certification required Teaching Experience for Students with

Learning Disabilities/Language-Based Learning Disabilities Schedule:

July 8, 2024

• August 1, 2024 9:00
• 12:00, Monday
• Thursday Additional 1-2 days of training prior to start of program Additional 30 minutes per day for planning Contact information-ESY Coordinators
