Key Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education Proven experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a school-based setting Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and assessment Ability to differentiate instruction for a range of abilities and learning styles Strong organizational and documentation skills Positive, team-oriented approach and excellent communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and deliver tailored instructional programs for students with a variety of learning differences Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure student success Conduct ongoing assessments and adapt instructional plans accordingly Write, monitor, and evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate and timely student records and reports Support and encourage student engagement, self-advocacy, and inclusion within the school community
