Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support 2nd and 3rd grade students in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. This contract position offers a consistent five-day workweek and the chance to work closely with a small caseload of 12-15 students, delivering meaningful, individualized instruction in a supportive classroom setting.
Qualifications:
Valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching license covering grades 2-3 (required) Experience working with elementary students with diverse learning needs Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong classroom management skills and a collaborative approach with staff and families
Position Details:
Location:
Fitchburg, MA Contract role with 32.5 hours per week
Schedule:
5 days per week
Caseload:
12-15 students in grades 2-3
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver specialized instruction aligned with students' IEP goals Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families Maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance and effective reporting
