r45892-01440 Job Description Special Education Teacher Middle School | Gardner, MA ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher for a full-time, contracted opportunity in Gardner, Massachusetts for the full school year. Onsite Classroom & Caseload The Special Education Teacher will work with a small caseload of 8 students in grades 57. Two students receive all of their instruction within the substantially separate program, while the remaining six students participate in other classroom settings throughout portions of their school day. The classroom also offers strong behavioral support with 4 RBTs, including:

• One RBT supporting each grade level
• One RBT providing dedicated 1:1 support to an individual student Responsibilities
• Provide specialized instruction based on students' individual academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Develop, write, implement, and monitor IEPs
• Collect and maintain student data and progress documentation
• Complete required special education documentation and data entry
• Collaborate closely with RBTs, general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Implement appropriate classroom and behavioral supports
• Maintain a structured, positive, and supportive learning environment
• Perform standard Special Education Teacher responsibilities as required by the district Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Appropriate Massachusetts Special Education teaching license/certification
• Experience working with students with social-emotional and behavioral needs preferred
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary behavioral support team Why Consider This Opportunity?
