ProCare Therapy ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for a contract position serving students in Gardner, Massachusetts. We specialize in connecting qualified educational professionals with school districts to support student success and create positive learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's unique learning needs. Provide direct instruction and specialized support in both pull-out and push-in/inclusive classroom settings. Assess student progress, collect data, and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal special education mandates. Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers (SLPs, OTs, PTs), and school administrators. Facilitate IEP meetings and maintain clear, proactive communication with parents and guardians. Foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that promotes academic, social, and emotional growth.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education or related field.
Licensure:
Active Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) Special Education Teacher license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
Experience:
Previous experience working in a school setting or with diverse learning needs preferred.
Skills:
Strong classroom management, excellent oral/written communication, and proficiency with IEP writing/data tracking platforms.

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.20 to $47.20. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
