Position:

Long-Term Substitute:

Special Education Teacher-Muddy Brook Regional Elementary School ( K-4)

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in the area of assignment. MA Teaching Certification. Certification as a Teacher of Students with Severe Disabilities (all levels) preffered.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated expertise and experience working with students on the autism spectrum, students with developmental and cognitive disabilities, and medically complex students in grades PK-4.

Demonstrated ability to develop modified curriculum and lessons to develop academic, social/emotional/behavioral, independent living skills and

Data collection and data-based progress monitoring is an essential Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

Demonstrated ability to maintain detailed records and to ensure compliance with state and federal educational standards and

Stipend:

As per BHEA Unit A Contract Link to Salary Scale

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday- 32.5 hours/ week
