9670602-01230 Job Description Make a meaningful impact by working with students who require dedicated support in substantially separate classroom settings. This full-time opportunity is perfect for experienced Special Education Teachers with a passion for supporting K-1st and 3rd-5th grade students who have significant cognitive and physical disabilities. Youll be instrumental in guiding some students who are non-verbal, on the autism spectrum, and those who require toileting assistance. Collaborative support includes working with RBTs for certain students, ensuring comprehensive care and individualized instruction.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education Teaching licensure/certification Experience in self-contained or substantially separate classroom environments Skilled in delivering specially designed instruction and differentiated learning plans Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) knowledge or experience (preferred, not required) Comfortable supporting students with significant physical and cognitive disabilities Familiarity with assistive technology and augmentative communication encouraged Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about empowering students with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized instruction to K-1st or 3rd-5th grade students with severe needs Develop and implement IEPs and instructional strategies aligned with each students requirements Collaborate with RBTs and other support staff to deliver effective interventions Support students with toileting and personal care, always maintaining dignity and respect Communicate effectively with families, therapists, and district professionals Use progress monitoring and data-driven approaches to adapt instruction as needed
