Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Active State Special Education Teaching certification (required to proceed to interviews) Proven experience working as a Special Education Teacher, especially in a 1:1 environment Strong ability to develop and implement tailored instructional strategies to meet individual student needs Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, families, and school teams Experience with IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven instruction Familiarity with a variety of learning and behavioral interventions

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized instruction and support to a designated student in alignment with their IEP Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, parents, and support personnel Document progress and interventions, contributing to ongoing educational planning Implement effective classroom management and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment Adjust instructional approaches to maximize student learning and engagement
