Job Description

A full-time opportunity is open for a Special Education Teacher in Lynn, Massachusetts, supporting K-12 students in a structured school setting. This contract position follows a 37.5-hour workweek across five days, providing the chance to deliver targeted instruction and meaningful support to students with diverse learning needs.
Qualifications:
Valid Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) license required Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings Solid understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and differentiated instruction strategies Strong communication skills when working with students, families, and school staff Ability to design and adapt lesson plans based on individual learning needs
Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction aligned with curriculum standards and student IEPs Track, assess, and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student growth and development Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment Participate in meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
