Job Description

Share your passion for empowering students with special needs in a dynamic educational environment! Skilled Special Education Teachers are needed for contract positions throughout Massachusetts. Caseloads are available across K-12, offering the opportunity to support students in a range of classroom settingswhether your expertise lies in resource rooms, inclusion models, or self-contained groups, theres a role that fits your background.
Desired Qualifications:
Current Massachusetts Special Education License (required) Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Flexible approach with experience managing a diverse caseload Strong communication and collaboration skills working with multidisciplinary teams Previous experience in school-based special education settings preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Design, adapt, and deliver engaging lessons to meet the unique needs of each student Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with families and other professionals Foster a supportive and accommodating classroom climate that encourages student growth and independence Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and related service providers to facilitate inclusion and maximize learning opportunities Provide regular progress updates to families, administrators, and other stakeholders These contract positions offer flexibility to match your skills and interests with a caseload that is truly rewarding.
