Required Qualifications:

Active Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) certification in Massachusetts Experience working with K-12 students with hearing challenges preferred Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or willingness to support communication through signing Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, parents, and support staff Commitment to individualized instruction and advocacy for student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement specialized lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing Offer direct instruction and support in a variety of educational settings (individual, small group, or classroom) Assist in the development and execution of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure students academic and social success Provide guidance and strategies to teachers and staff for effective communication access in the classroom Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and achievement This opportunity includes a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday.
