Key Qualifications:

Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education Experience providing consultative and direct services within schools Strong understanding of relevant educational technology, resources, and communication methods Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including general education staff Knowledge of current best practices, legislation, and accommodations for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students

Role Responsibilities:

Provide expert consultation for three students, supporting their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Participate in assessments, monitor progress, and maintain accurate documentation Advise educational staff on strategies and classroom modifications for accessibility Foster inclusive classroom environments and model communication strategies Serve as a resource for families, offering guidance and addressing their concerns as needed Stay current on educational trends and professional standards for Deaf/Hard of Hearing instruction This meaningful position offers the chance to make a significant difference for students who benefit from your specialized expertise.
