Job Description

Dedicated special education professionals are invited to take on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting elementary students in an onsite school environment. Located near Reading, MA, this role offers the chance to collaborate with a passionate team, ensuring every student receives tailored support to thrive within the classroom. With a standard workweek of 35-40 hours, you'll make a tangible difference in young learners lives while benefiting from a supportive and growth-oriented workplace.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Massachusetts teaching license with special education certification required Previous experience as a special education teacher, especially at the elementary level, preferred Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and ability to implement them Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt instruction and classroom environment to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction and support to elementary students with a range of learning needs Develop, implement, and track progress on IEP goals for each student in your caseload Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success Maintain accurate records and complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning atmosphere Here you can expect competitive weekly pay, along with robust health, dental, and vision insurance options to keep you and your family well cared for.
