Job Description

Make a difference as a Special Education Teacher supporting students in an inclusive and engaging learning environment. This contract position offers an opportunity to collaborate with educators and families to promote academic and personal growth for every child. Youll work with individualized education plans, adapting curriculum and instruction to meet the diverse needs of your students.
Qualifications:
Valid teaching license with a Special Education endorsement as required by state regulations Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a similar educational support role Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Ability to employ evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Compassion, creativity, and adaptability in meeting students unique needs
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver individualized instruction to students with a range of learning, emotional, and physical disabilities Create, review, and maintain up-to-date Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Employ differentiated teaching techniques and classroom management strategies to foster a positive and productive learning atmosphere Track and report student achievement, meeting all compliance requirements Collaborate with general education teachers, related service staff, and parents to support an inclusive approach Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions This role provides the chance to make tangible contributions to students educational journeys while building rewarding relationships.
