Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct instruction to students with moderate disabilities, tailoring teaching methods to individual needs. Develop and implement detailed Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student, emphasizing measurable goals. Adapt general education lessons and materials to accommodate unique learning differences and promote student success. Facilitate learning in essential life skills, social interaction, and foundational academics, supporting greater independence. Utilize positive reinforcement and structured interventions to effectively manage behaviors and foster a productive classroom environment. Maintain thorough and accurate records of student progress, adjustments, and ongoing needs. Serve as a point of contact for families, actively communicating progress, challenges, and strategies in support of each student's individualized plan. Collaborate daily with therapists, support staff, and families to ensure an integrated approach to student growth.
