An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Special Education Teacher to provide essential services to high school students in grades 9-12. Situated near Taunton, MA in Mansfield, this contract position runs full time from October through December 2026. The selected educator will be responsible for supporting a diverse caseload, collaborating with faculty, and fostering a positive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications and Experience:

Active Massachusetts Special Education Teacher license required Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field Previous experience teaching or supporting high school students with varying needs Strong understanding of IEP processes, accommodations, and modifications Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, staff, and families Ability to manage a classroom, develop lesson plans, and track student progress Flexibility and adaptability to meet individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction to students in grades 9-12, adapting lessons as needed Develop, implement, and assess Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment Participate in meetings, professional development, and school activities as required
