Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

To teach and manage high school classroom in absence of the teacher Funded by :District Budget Qualifications :
o MA Teacher License preferred but not required o Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required o Effective instructional abilities, strong classroom management skillsResponsibilities :
o Ability to teach curriculum and lessons o Strong classroom management and positive behavior skills o Excellent communication and collaborative skills with students, staff and parents o Ability to portray a positive role model to students o Ability to differentiate instruction for individual students and small groups o Ability to make accommodations for different learning styles o Other duties as assigned by principalSalary :
