Job Description

Bring your passion for supporting students with unique learning needs to a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting near West Springfield, MA. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong understanding of diverse learning styles and classroom management strategies Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, therapists, and school administrators Excellent communication and organization skills Adaptability and creativity in lesson planning and teaching methods Previous experience in a school environment is highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver tailored instructional plans based on students IEP goals Provide direct academic and behavioral support in a classroom setting Track, monitor, and report on student progress and adjust strategies as needed Communicate regularly with families regarding student achievements and challenges Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure each student receives comprehensive support Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all state and federal guidelines for special education By contributing your expertise, compassion, and dedication, you will help pave the way for student success.
