Job Description

Key Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and compliance Strong classroom management skills and positive behavior support techniques Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with educators, parents, and support staff Adaptability and creative problem-solving abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver individualized instruction aligned with students IEPs Assess students strengths and challenges to tailor instructional methods and materials Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure student success in inclusive settings Maintain and update student records and documentation to meet compliance requirements Communicate regularly with families, sharing progress and strategies for continued growth Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and in-service training This rewarding position offers the opportunity to create a nurturing, positive classroom culture while working closely with a passionate team.
