Lead Teacher Pay:

$23/hour

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 9a-530p An Early Educator - Lead Teacher fosters a developmentally appropriate, nurturing, and safe, and caring environment in which a child can grow physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. Participate with interest, enthusiasm, and motivation in the program's activities and provide positive interactions with the children that will meet their needs. Carry out appropriate and positive discipline requirements as established by the Lead Teacher that reflects program philosophy, encourages each child's uniqueness, allows for individual differences. Maintain a room arrangement that is safe, inviting, interesting, and stimulating. Work as a supportive member of a team to provide the best possible care for young children. Prepare and implement, with the Lead Teacher, weekly lesson plans and activities. Perform classroom record keeping functions. Be sensitive and responsive to parents. Attend all staff meetings. Assume responsibility for the classroom in the absence of the Lead Teacher.
