Monitor student progress through assessments, standardized testing, and ongoing observations; adjust instruction accordingly. Mentor and supervise assistant teachers or aides, providing guidance on best practices in childhood development, special education law, and classroom management. Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including preschool or private school environments. Strong background in special education, curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and behavioral health strategies. Knowledge of IEP development, special education law, autism spectrum disorders support, and behavioral management for students with disabilities. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated ability to lead classroom activities while maintaining a nurturing environment conducive to learning. Familiarity with educational technology integration and standardized testing procedures. Certification or licensure in early childhood education or special education is preferred; relevant Montessori or preschool experience is a plus.
