Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Previous experience in self-contained, inclusion, or behavior support settings preferred Strong ability to adapt teaching strategies to varied learning needs Collaborative mindset and commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, implement, and assess individualized education plans Support students academic, social, and emotional growth in various school settings Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families Maintain up-to-date records, progress notes, and required documentation Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
