Category Schools - Visually Impaired Teacher - Telehealth Job Type Contract A specialized role for a Teachers for the Visually Impaired (TVI) professional is available through a telehealth contract. This opportunity enables the delivery of expert support and instruction to visually impaired students, utilizing remote technologies to enhance learning outcomes.

Location:

Rock Hall, MD Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instructional services to visually impaired students via telehealth platforms Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of visually impaired learners Collaborate with families, educators, and related service providers to support student progress and access to the curriculum Monitor and assess student performance, adapting teaching strategies as necessary to ensure effective learning Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and program standards Utilize assistive technology tools effectively to deliver instruction remotely

Qualifications:

Certified Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) Experience working with visually impaired students in educational settings Strong knowledge of instructional techniques and adaptive technologies for visual impairments Proficiency with telehealth platforms and remote instructional methods Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently within a contract framework
