Job Description

Brunswick's Special Education Department seeks functional life skills ed. tech to join our Kate Furbish Elementary School team for the 26-27 school year. Students in our programs have a wide variety of academic, functional, and developmental needs that must be addressed in ways that foster student development and growth. Successful candidates will be able to closely collaborate with team members to manage students' programs, demonstrate the creativity and flexibility necessary to support students' challenging behaviors, support students in the regular and special education settings (virtual or in person) in small groups or 1:1, implement students' IEPs and behavior plans, and support students' unique needs as appropriate. Successful candidates will also provide support on Special Education transportation.

Kate Furbish Elementary:

1 position available

Qualifications:
  • 2 Years of College or Equivalent Experience preferred
  • Ed Tech Authorization through the Maine Department of Education
  • Maine Criminal History Records Check
