Qualifications:

Possess or be eligible for Maine DOE State Licensure (282 endorsement; conditional status considered) Hold a current CHRC (Maine DOE Background Check) Prior experience in Adaptive Life Skills or serving diverse learning needs preferred Strong communication skills and a commitment to inclusive education Positive, flexible, and solution-focused mindset

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement personalized instructional plans to meet student IEP goals Create a safe, encouraging classroom environment that promotes independence and positive behaviors Collaborate with related service providers, families, and educational staff to drive student success Collect and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized programs Use diverse strategies and assistive technology to support students academic and functional skills Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations governing special education Experience a fulfilling assignment with a supportive benefits package.
