Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Job Description
Desired Qualifications:
Current and active Michigan Special Education Teacher license (documentation required with application) Experience or strong interest in resource classroom settings Commitment to individualized instruction and differentiated learning strategies Excellent communication and teamwork skills Adaptable, organized, and passionate about student growthKey Responsibilities:
Design and implement IEPs for a caseload of approximately 10 elementary students or 11 middle school students Deliver targeted instruction and support in resource classrooms Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families Monitor, track, and report student progress, adjusting plans as needed Maintain an organized, supportive classroom environment Engage in professional development and ongoing trainingAssignment Details:
Contract through June 10, 2027 (tentative) 35 hours per week Elementary schedule: 7:55 a.m. - 3:10 p.m.Middle/High schedule:
7:35 a.m. - 2:40 p.m.Locations:
