Job Description

This contract opportunity offers two positionselementary and middle schoolso you can specify your preferred age group to best fit your passion and experience.

Key Qualifications:

Valid and active Special Education Teacher license for Michigan Previous experience working within special education/resource classrooms Ability to differentiate instruction and provide individualized support Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive, and supportive learning environment Flexibility to adapt to the unique needs of elementary or middle school students

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support for students on a resource caseload (elementary: 10, middle: 11) Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with general education staff Utilize evidence-based interventions to promote academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal special education guidelines Foster a collaborative team environment, working with other educators and support personnel Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and strategies for support Details of the

Contract spans from immediate start through mid-June 2027 (tentative)

Full-time:

35 hours per week

Schedules:
