Full-Time, Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-6:00 PM or 9:30 AM-6:30 PM The Learning Experience
  • Jenison is seeking an experienced and flexible Floater Teacher who enjoys variety and is confident working with children across multiple age groups.
As a Floater Teacher, you'll be an important part of our teaching team, providing classroom coverage and support wherever it's needed most. The ideal candidate can comfortably transition between Infant, Toddler, 2-year-old, and Preschool classrooms while adapting to the routines and developmental needs of each age group. Key Responsibilities Provide classroom coverage across Infant, Toddler, 2-year-old, and Preschool classrooms Adapt to different classroom routines, teaching teams, and developmental stages Support learning activities, transitions, meals, rest time, and outdoor play Engage children through art, music, movement, sensory play, stories, and hands-on activities Provide attentive supervision and positive guidance Assist with feeding, diapering, and care routines in younger classrooms Help maintain classroom ratios and provide teacher breaks as needed Maintain clean, safe, organized, and welcoming classrooms Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators Follow Michigan childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous professional daycare, preschool, childcare, or early childhood experience strongly preferred Must be comfortable working with all age groups, including infants Ability to adapt quickly and confidently between classrooms CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus Dependable, flexible, energetic, and team-oriented Must meet applicable Michigan childcare licensing requirements What We Offer Competitive pay of $17
