Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, speech therapy, behavioral health, and special education strategies Lead classroom activities that promote early intervention, social-emotional learning, and behavioral management tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring specialized support Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement techniques and behavioral therapy methods Supervise and mentor teaching assistants and support staff to ensure high-quality instructional delivery Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly Foster strong communication with parents and guardians through regular updates on student development and progress Requirements Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or special education settings, including preschool or private school environments Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and classroom management Knowledge of working with individuals with autism, disabilities, or developmental delays; experience with speech therapy and behavioral health is highly desirable Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and individualized instruction strategies Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and external specialists Certification or training in early intervention, behavioral therapy, or related fields preferred Ability to lead by example while mentoring staff and supporting student success in a lively classroom setting Join our team as a Lead Teacher to inspire young minds while making a lasting difference!
