Two positions are available, serving either elementary or middle school resource classrooms. Choose your preferred grade level and help shape the academic success of a dedicated group of learners. This opportunity spans both East Leroy Elementary and Athens High School. With manageable caseloads10 students at the elementary level and 11 at middle schoolyoull have the chance to provide individualized support in a collaborative setting.

Key Qualifications:

Valid and active Michigan Special Education Teacher certification (please provide documentation with your application) Experience working in resource classroom settings is preferred Passion for helping students with unique learning needs thrive Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff Ability to customize instruction and support to diverse elementary or middle school learners

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and small group instruction in a resource classroom environment Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for each student on your caseload Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success Track and report student progress, adapting goals and instructional strategies as needed Establish a welcoming, inclusive, and consistent classroom atmosphere

Benefits & Schedule:

Flexible choice between elementary or middle school position 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday Athens High School schedule: 7:35 a.m. 2:40 p.m.;

East Leroy Elementary:

7:55 a.m. 3:10 p.m. Long-term assignment through June 2027

Pay:
