Bring your passion for supporting students to a contract role as a Special Education Teacher working one-on-one with an elementary student in a nurturing school environment. Qualifications and Experience:
Valid state licensure as a Special Education Teacher Previous experience with elementary-aged students is preferred Exceptional communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt learning strategies to meet unique student needs Experience working one-on-one with students and supporting paraprofessionals is highly desirable
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for a single elementary school student Provide targeted academic and behavioral support aligned with student goals Work in partnership with paraprofessionals to maximize student engagement and achievement Monitor and track student progress, communicating updates with families and the educational team Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment Participate in professional meetings and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
