Qualifications and Credentials:

Active Michigan Special Education Teacher License required Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, IEP development, and data-driven interventions Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff Committed to inclusivity and differentiated instruction Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with ASD and other disabilities Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Create engaging lesson plans and adapt materials as needed for accessibility Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers Maintain accurate records and document student progress in accordance with district and state requirements Foster a supportive, positive classroom environment that encourages academic, social, and emotional growth
