Qualifications:

Valid Michigan Special Education (SPED) certification required Experience working with middle school-aged students preferred Strong knowledge of IEP processes, compliance, and documentation Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive educational environment

Responsibilities:

Consult with general education and special education teachers to support student progress Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments and interpret student performance data Support compliance with state and federal special education regulations Offer guidance and resources to staff and families Monitor and adjust instructional strategies based on student needs Manage a manageable caseload to promote effective and individualized support This position is designed to offer stability and professional growth, with consistent hours 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Compensation for this role is $42.50 per hour, with weekly pay to support your financial planning.
