Valid Michigan teaching certification with Mathematics (EX) endorsement. One or more special education endorsements required: Autism (SV), Cognitive Impairment (SA), Emotional Impairment (SE), or Learning Disabilities (SM). Previous experience in a K-12 special education setting is highly preferred. Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and fellow educators. Adaptability to diverse learning needs and commitment to inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, adapt, and deliver individualized lesson plans for students in assigned caseload. Conduct assessments, gather data, and implement interventions for student progress. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support students academic, social, and emotional development. Facilitate IEP meetings, documentation, and ongoing communication with parents or guardians.
