Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience supporting K-8 students with varied behavioral needs Familiarity with resource classroom models Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles Comfort addressing diverse learning and behavioral requirements

Responsibilities:

Design and implement individualized instructional plans tailored to IEP goals Deliver engaging lessons in a resource room environment Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
