Multiple full-time roles are available for dedicated Special Education Teachers, focused on both Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and therapeutic classroom programs. Each classroom offers a collaborative atmosphere, robust resources, and strong interdisciplinary support to empower both teachers and students.

Highlights of the positions include:

Elementary caseloads in ASD and therapeutic classroom settings, providing targeted instruction and individualized support to students in grades K5. Teams of three paraprofessionals per classroom, ensuring ample classroom assistance and focused interventions. Integrated services from Speech, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy specialists. No toileting or lifting responsibilities required in ASD program classrooms. Class sizes are intentionally kept manageable, with therapeutic programs serving approximately 10 students each. Desired background and credentials:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification issued by the state of Michigan. Direct experience, or a strong interest in, working with students diagnosed with ASD for ASD Program positions. Familiarity with behavioral or therapeutic educational settings for Therapeutic Program roles.
