9660957-48089 Job Description Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher. This position runs through June 15, 2026, offering full-time hours40 hours per week across a five-day schedule. You'll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 1520 elementary-aged students, providing critical support and guidance in a welcoming school setting located near Warren, MI.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching certification in one or more of the 13 eligibility areas Experience working with elementary-aged children in a classroom or school-based setting Solid understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation Strong collaborative skills to work with general education teachers, support staff, and families Excellent communication, empathy, and organizational abilities Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:
