Job Description
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education (state requirements must be met) Experience working with children or adolescents with a range of disabilities Ability to adapt curriculum, instruction, and assessments for learners individualized needs Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families Recordkeeping, progress monitoring, and familiarity with IEP development and implementationKey Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging instruction in accordance with individualized education programs (IEPs) Modify lessons to meet students needs while promoting inclusion and positive classroom management Evaluate student progress and document outcomes aligned with IEP goals Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff Communicate regularly with families to foster a supportive learning environment Participate in IEP meetings, professional development sessions, and team planning activitiesBenefits and Perks:
