A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Under supervision, IHS provide services to adults with Developmental Disabilities, Mental Illness, and/or Chemical Dependency in the individuals home, ensuring that programs are implemented properly to increase the persons served independence. The incumbent will carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, applicable to federal, state, local standards, guidelines, and regulations as directed by the reporting supervisor.WORK HOURS
Part Time 3:00pm-9:30pm every other Friday, Saturday, & Sunday Male Only Wage starts at $23- 24•($3 differential on weekends).
YOU PROVIDE
Companionship and support Providing emotional support, engaging in social activities and conversations to clientele Household and daily tasks Meal prep, tidy living spaces Personal care and hygiene Helping with bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, physical movement and repositioning Behavioral Essential duties Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Provide direct care and support to individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities. Conduct data collection and analysis to track progress and outcomes. Assist with crisis management and behavior support as needed. Requirements CPR and First Aid Certified- We provide free training!
MN DHS Background Study Pay:
$22.00- $24.
