9682680-55016 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) Teacher supporting young learners in a vibrant elementary setting. This full-time opening is designed for an inspiring Special Education professional passionate about guiding students with developmental cognitive disabilities. As a vital member of the K-2 community, youll foster growth, independence, and a love for learning among a small, dedicated caseload of approximately 10 students. This assignment spans from the end of February through early June 2027, with work hours from 8:00 am 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education Teaching License with appropriate DCD endorsement Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in K-2 settings Background implementing IEPs for students with developmental cognitive disabilities Ability to design differentiated instruction and individualized supports Outstanding collaboration and communication skills to partner with staff, families, and support teams Strong organizational skills and a proactive, compassionate attitude

Primary Responsibilities:
