Job Description

Bring your talent and dedication to a contract opportunity supporting exceptional learners in a vibrant educational setting near Eden Prairie, MN. This full-time role runs from August 24, 2026, through May 28, 2027, and focuses on delivering outstanding instruction and individualized support for students across all age groups within special programs. Several positions are available, including three at Sanburg Middle Schooltwo in resource and one in the RISE program, ensuring your expertise meets a variety of student needs.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Minnesota Teaching Credential in
Special Education:
Developmental Cognitive Disabilities. Holds or qualifies for a Tier 3 or Tier 4 Minnesota license. Demonstrated experience in providing direct services to students in special education programs. Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and case management for students receiving tiered interventions and support. Teach and implement individualized strategies for students with diverse learning needs. Maintain accurate records and documentation for each student, ensuring program compliance. Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment. Liaise with teachers, support staff, and families to deliver coordinated services. Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and professional development.
