Qualifications:
Active Minnesota teaching credential in one or more of the following: Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Disabilities, Early Childhood Special Education, Emotional Behavioral Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Generic Special Education, or Academic & Behavioral Strategist Solid understanding of behavior management strategies, classroom routines, and developmental supports Demonstrated experience implementing and monitoring effective behavior intervention plans Collaborative approach when working with colleagues in both special education and general education settings Skilled in scheduling and directing paraprofessionals in classroom support roles Reliable attendance and commitment to supporting consistent student progress
Responsibilities:
Provide specialized educational services in a resource, center-based, or early childhood setting as assigned Cover FMLA leave, ensuring continuity of instruction and individualized support Develop, adapt, and implement effective instructional materials and behavior plans Work closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and general education staff Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as needed Foster an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported This assignment is fully onsite and offers the chance to build valuable relationships with students, families, and staff in a dynamic educational community.
