9659737-55347 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting high school students as a Special Education Teacher for grades 9 through 12. You'll be working closely with a caseload of 18 resource students, providing guidance and personalized instruction to foster academic and personal growth. Key Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching license for the state of Minnesota Proven experience or background supporting SPED students at the secondary level Knowledge of current IEP and 504 plan requirements and implementation practices Excellent classroom management and communication skills Ability to adapt instructional approaches to meet diverse learner needs Passion for empowering students and advocating for their educational journeys

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to resource students in grades 9-12 Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to maintain compliance and meet student needs Provide direct instructional support in small group and one-on-one settings, focusing on unique learning goals Track and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments to interventions and learning strategies Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and other required school functions Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence and academic achievement Working in this special education resource role, you'll have the opportunity to influence student growth and achievement during the contract period from ASAP through November 24, 2026.
