Key Qualifications:

Valid teaching certification in Special Education Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting (elementary or secondary preferred) Strong understanding of IEP development, instructional adaptation, and progress monitoring Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to create engaging, differentiated lessons to meet a variety of learner needs Positive, flexible attitude with a commitment to student success

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction to students based on IEP goals and accommodations Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to create an inclusive classroom environment Develop, implement, and monitor individualized student plans and report on progress Participate in staff development sessions scheduled for the week of 8/24 and 8/31 Support a smooth transition as students begin their school year starting 9/8 Handle classroom management and foster a safe, supportive space for all students This contract position allows you to impact students' educational journeys while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
